Heard ye have a new manager for the coming season (James Carrig), from what i saw of him last year he is a tough task master who doesn't accept second best, this i think will push ye up there big time in the league next season. Has Johnny Markham joined James as coach for the season?? Would be a great addition also to ye.

not sure yet what way star will be so cant judge, but from the rest think mungret, cappamore, the dines, balla, and croom will be the dominent teams, think cappamore to win the league

I dont know about johnny joining to be honest..we have a trainer as it is in Darren Keane so i dont know how it is going to work...Johnny was with us before so he knows the club....but all i know is that we need a manager and we need a kick in the a*s so hopefully we get that and maybe a few players and we might push on from last year.

Have Cappamore signed some players?? they were lucky to stay up this season!!
Star's hopes really depend on who is appointed manager, and up to last weekend nobody had been (although a lot were approached, not naming any names).
Mungret will be there or there abouts, as they are every year (just need to be consistant for the season).
I hear the Dines will have a better squad this coming season than the season just gone, but have lost their keeper (really need a relaible keeper for the coming season).
Balla will finish in the top 4/5 but not promotion,
Croom will be the same as Balla but could push for promotion if they sign a few decent players and keep what they had last season.
Granville or Summerville (whoever get relegated on Sunday) will also be strong,

But all in all I think it will be a very strong league next season with any team capable of beating anyone else.

Roll on the start of the season......................I'll give my prediction at the start of August, when we know who has signed with who....

Windy Hogan's name has been mentioned. I think he would be a great appoitment. Top coach.

Any word on Pa Barry Abbey?

ger (windy) hogan has always been able to get players or make better players out of bad ones i think he would do well with stars current team.

fully aware of that, the player in question asked for and got a transfer mid way thru last season but tore up the form at the last minute...i´m confident he´ll stay, all players from last season should stay because there´s a real belief we can go up this year, we need to add experience and there´s plenty of former dines players around that would be intereted in coming back to the current set up...darren walsh returned last year but broke his leg third game, he was a big loss...
