    You're a Star

    Yeah yeah, not sure this qualifies as music.....

    But, over the years this show has unearthed one or two gems, mostly female.

    Anybody out there know if the best performer from series 1, Lisa Bresnan, (from Limerick methinks) is still about ?

    Really obscure this, but remember in the first series there was this harpist, Irish American, her grandparents were from Longford, and she stayed here for about a year. She once visited the newspaper I worked in, and Christ was she lovely.

    Don't much care for the competition, the ethos or anything else remotely connected with it but I do know Lisa and she's a primary teacher here in Limerick. Don't think she's up to much in the music/entertainment business. Very nice girl to talk to actually.

    i knew her from NUIG where we both went to college. Lovely girl. Great voice.
