Very unfair to say that about Brian especially when he was being played out of position. He is an out and out centre half and will never be anything else.

He played more games at centre-half than anywhere else so I think it is fair to say it.

i always felt that mccarthy looked out of position. never looked comfortable. i dont know to be honest.

I only watched him at Centre Back and he was poor but then as Hendo said in tonights echo we didnt have a back four against Sligo they were all missing in action!!
