My young daughter(5 years old) was at the Drogs game Friday night with me.It was her first game this season.She really had a great time and was in hysterics when she spotted Georgies red mohican.She took a big likeing to Flynny as well as do all fans.She was even singing along to chants of "City City" which brought a smile to my face.When we got home she told her mother everything that happened.My wife asked her who is your favourite player?..and the reply was "Georgie Flynn".Beat that lads!!

I bring my 6 and 9 year olds to most games ( they even came to Waterford this year ).
I was getting new boots for the 9 year old on Saturday and when the assistant in Cummins spotted him with a pair of those red and black adidas ones he asked him if he ..........

......"would like those David Beckham boots".

My young fellow looked horrified and replied ......

...."no way I hate him. I want a pair of white Georgie ones"
