    UEFA Licencing

What's the story with this? Can teams get relegated/denied promotion if they don't meet requirements by the start of next season? Is it likely to be implemented? I remember a 1500-seat minimum was brought in a few years back, but Longford were promoted the next season (before they did the renovations obviously).

Drogheda spring to mind as one team who have a hell of a lot to do. They've 250 seats, and the terrace only holds about 2000 people, which would be 1000 seats max. That other bit of terrace would possibly be 250 seats as well which woud make the 1500. Although I don't know where they'd get the money for this given the state they've been in recently.

Maybe there's hope for us yet...?

We started building as soon as we got promoted and it wasn't long before we were up to 600 seats in the stand... It's one thing to give a derogation for a year (esp if the rule only came in the year before), but it doesn't seem to be implemented at all... Drogeheda being the case in point.... Not wanting to bring up scottish football, but I actually agree with Falkirk not being promoted due to their ground - clubs that follow the rules obviously suffer player budget wise, as compared to clubs that ignore the rules...

    Relegate Drogs Now...

Some of the Limerick fans were saying a while back that they wouldn't be able to be promoted this season so I thikn that may be the case.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
