Surely someone has something to say about the game, and areas for improvement?![]()
I am helping to update the data on the EL database. Anyone with any issues regarding the EL information (teams, players, managers, team performances, coaches, grounds, financial statistics, realism, or any other relavant details) in CM4 02-03, please post them here.
Thanks

Make John O' Flynn better and change City kick-offs to Fridays. (I realise this isn't much help, but you did ask).
A man can have no greater love than give 90 minutes for his friends.
No Hitman, thats perfect, and exactly what I am looking for. If I could get a hold on a lot of this type of info, then the overall gameplay of the EL will improve immensely.
Thanks again![]()
I don't know if this is useful info but would be more realistic to eL fans and City fans.
i think (i'm not definitely sure) that it says shamrock rovers play in glenmalure park but they're actually homeless and have to ground share with st. pats.
When i play with City, Dan Murray is valued at €8-10k but mick mulconroy (who isn't a bad player, but is no dan murray) is bout €50-60k.It may only be a game but this is just 1 stat that is very different to real life stats.
If this is what you mean by realism or even players then that is 1 thing which would make the game better and a bit more realistic.
Its a great game though![]()
dcnags, thats the kind of stuff that I am looking for. It all helps to improve the game.
Thanks
Shamrock Rovers are meant to be going to Tallaght, but I don't know when (nor do most Rovers fans I've been talking to either). I have heard something to the effect that from a certain date, McWimbledon move to play their home games at Milton Keynes, though that would involve having a set date for a Rovers move.Originally posted by dcnags

That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.
Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

Just remember that in the last game it said the irish league started in june or july (which it did at the time) but it now starts in about march or april.also you'd have to have the european qualifiers from the previous season in it as qualifying starts between a quarter and a half way through the irish season.good luck with it anyway!!![]()
If you're playing with the latest official data update then take McGrath out of U.C.D.
And stay out of Bumtown, ya no talent bum.
The one big problem with previous versions of cm is work permit requirements being the same for ireland as britain. In reallity it is much easier for clubs to secure permits in ireland. For example; Cork City have signed two nigerian players who were previously in Egypt (Check their site). They are expecting no problems with permits. St Pats have 2 Brazilians in their under 21s who don't need to play 66% of first team matches to keep their permits. It would be brilliant if this issue could be resolved.
I don't know if you can do this, but including Chairman and Manager rants in the newspapers more often - for example, Ollie Byrne is quite outspoken, as is Pat Dolan.
Similarly, Is it far distant into the future to have the likes of Noel King, or Damien Richardson, and other analysts making disparaging or paraging(?) comments about clubs and whether they are too defensive, or what they need to do? It could come as a news message reporting on coverage of some games.
Finally, as you probably know by now, the dates of birth of many Blues are badly off - Willie Byrne is 30 or 31 to start with at Waterford United - he is one of the older first teamers, but he isn't that old, I think.
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?
there ratings in matches fluctuate-my george o callaghan plays awful when praised but improves when criticised
