what about the sarsfield barracks? there pitch is not being used and it not far from town went by there the other day and it looks like there is room to put a stand on the side by the fence anyone ever thought of using that to play on?
nice idea, and the playing surface is excellent...at least it used to be 10 or so years ago, when I graced it as a fat, lard arsed striker in inter-firm football (sort of like Barry Ryan). However, I do know that it is owned by the army and they won't sell it, or even give a 25 year lease on it, and we all know that the nice men in Merrion Sq won't give us any money till we own our own ground to develop.only jokin barry
