    longford town have signed gints freimanis from skonta riga.. this was confirmed in todays longford news. we are waitin on a work permit for him . this was the fella that was linked with cork city...
    Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

    I haven't actually heard anything about that but nothing surprises me any more!. Not that there's anything particularly wrong with him getting a job in a mushroom factory, I doubt we're paying him much if anything.

    He's coming to Longford probably as a stop gap until Cork or whoever can get the money freed up to sign him for next year. He has a brother living here and people can have a look at him for a while. I'm certainly under no illusions he'll be here next year.
