Sunday papers were saying ticket sales haven't been good for this year.
Nowhere near sold out (sold out in April last year IIRC).
Rumour doing the rounds that IMRO are kicking up a stink about unpaid royalties and are threatening to a) pull their acts (boohoo) or b get the festival cancelled
Anyone hear anything about this? And can a crowd like IMRO actually do that?

Its not cancelled POD released a statement saying that IRMO want money off them ( above what they have allready paid the bands ) and for non music acts , POD agreed to pay it but IRMO but they refused to accept it and its going to the high court.
Anyway its still on anyway but i would think ticket sales are way down out of the 20 or so of us that went 2 years ago 2 of us got tickets this year ( about 15 went last year) everyone else is unimpressed with the line up i would think a lot of people are thinking the same since its gotten so big its lost its magic.
tickets that have been released are sold, they always hold some back and sell in blocks. They will go on sale closer to the gig. I think it is seriously over priced anyway. I only live about 20 min away and wouldn't bother camping. Still 240 for the line up isn't worth it at all.
Ignore Max Power, he is no more, the future is Ron Burgundy. I'd love to be Ron Burgundy but they won't let me........
I have to say oxygen is the better gig this year only 220 3 days and a very good line up.
Seriously dissapointed in Picnic this year

Thats true but in fairness to the security if you where dealing with 16-18 year old ****ed up scoabs 24 hours a day for 3 days you would be ignorant as well !!!.
Was thinking of staying off site and going in and out for the days watch the bands i want to see and go home again give the camp site a miss all together.
