Just had word from the wife that some cash has come off our credit card, no idea what tickets we've got but I was in for 4 tickets for 7 games in Cape Town so here's hoping....
Looks like it may be like Japan in that tickets will be accessible as it is so far away
I know of another applicant who got 3 out of 7 having applied for Cat 1s in Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth. Happy enough as they are planning a holiday as well and picked the nice places and the top seeds in the groups.
Sounds like there may have been more demand for the top seeds in the group (makes sense) and for these venues - think they got 2 in Durban and 1 in Port Elizabeth..
Im still getting "Application Pending". Pain in the hole checking it 5 times a day.
I haven't received any email yet an when I log in to view my application all I can see is......

What's the story with that?
"....until Ray Houghton got the ball and stuck it in the net!!"
I got 2 TST3 Ireland tickets, will the money only be taken out of the card if we qualify?
As I suspected I received an email today saying that my application had not been successful. Given that I applied for a TST-7 I can't say I'm really surprised.
Phase 2 of ticket sales for me and then hope that the FAI can come up with enough tickets when we qualify.

No joy for me either, got an email today. Can you still get TST tickets in phase 2?
No. monery will be taken straight away.
If Ireland doesnt qualify you will be refunded less a Service Fee amount which is 10% of the price of the group matches included in the TST for transactions in US Dollars is: 48 USD for Category 1 TST Series, 36 USD for Category 2 TST Series, 24 USD for Category 3 TST Series

Nightmare... my credit card was cloned (someone was using it to try and purchase stuff on one of those 360 money card sites) and so the bank have cancelled it. I can't seem to change the card details on the fifa ticket site, it looks like I might not get the tickets now as I can only use the new cards not the old ones.
have done, just got an automated response saying query is being looked at...
No joy with my application.
Applied for 2 tickets for Cat 3 TST4.
Received email confirming that my application for 2 x TST5 cat 3 tickets approved. No payment as yet due to me having to cancel credit card as some fecker cloned it to buy subsciption for skype, but it states on email that I have until the 4th may 2009 to pay for them.
1078 in total. Can't remember is that price in sterling or euro? Anyone
