    Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution ?

Anyone played the console version just out whats it like was thinking of it but ive been led to believe its a turn based game which i dont like i prefer the real time ones like command and conquor.

Its nothing like command and conquer. Think a far more engaging version of Risk. Very much a thinking game than an action game, though it can get pretty intense trading blows in a big battle on a LAN game.

Was looking at this game myself, never played any of the Civilization games, but enjoyed the Age of Empires game on PC. Is Civilization anything similar to Age of empires?

    No.

Well, AoE borrows some things from Civ; the researching technology and collecting resources and build wonders and stuff. But ultimately Civ is on a continental/global scale whereas AoE is really only a battlefield.

Has anyone got this ? Is it much worse than the PC version ? I'm thinking of getting it but not sure.

I downloaded the demo and wasnt impressed God games are by far my favourite but why put in a stupid turn based eliment into a game, you move your warriors 2 spaces then the other guy has a go, It was pretty poor i didnt play the PC ones but its ment to be really cut down to suit the console games last 3-4 hours rather 8-9.

I was hoping this would be great ill just have to wait for a new sim city to come out i guess.
