Tonights game...

Lads what can i say?...that was a fantastic game and one that would have been great viewing if showed on TV.Easily John O Flynn's best game of the season.Georgie was AGAIN fantastic and worked his socks off.I could go through the whole team and compliment each of them for there performance especially after having Alan Bennett sent off.Everyone played very well and tonight. Cork City FC showed they must be the fittest team in the league.Funny seeing Dolan on top of the stand tonight(banned from dugout)where cameraman was, running all over the place.The way he came down to the shed after the game was absolutely fantastic.This man is without doubt THE MAN to bring City to the top of the tree in Irish football.Now and then i have reservations about him but i now firmly beleive this guy is going to be a legend in our City.At last the PASSION the fans of Cork City FC have showed over the years is now being shown by our manager also and the fans are loving it.We can still win this league and if not we will be serious challengers next season.Cork City FC is growing and growing and i hope all the small clubs in Dublin are trembling............

RedX .... I couldn't agree with you more.

The spirt we say out there tonight was unbelievable.

For the guys to dig deep and play the way they did ( down to 10 men for 55 mins ) and come up with the goods was just incredible.

But do you know if I was a Rovers fan I would be embarrased. They were intimidated and subsequently out played by players with more heart ( Big Derek, Doyler, George, Flynny etc etc ). Kenney step back and look at yourself........!

And then what about Reynolds. I tried to explain to my wife ( in a drunken haze ) when I got home about the history between him and us, the flyers ( I even brought them home to show her ) and how we ( the fans ) were so instrumental in having him taken off .......she just didn't get it. But do you know it was simply .......beautiful......... seeing him trudge off.

This is what people mean when they say their support was worth a goal.

Can't wait for Trev on Monday night.

Counting Crow...i am still laughing at your reply about the flyers and you showing them to your wife.I did exactly the same thing.We must be sad eh?..i grabbed a pizza on the way home and told the wife i bought them with the Alan Reynolds fake Notes that were floating about.She was in hyterics when i showed her them!..anyway you are right when you say whoever was not there tonight missed a great match that i certainly will remember for a long time...
