Are ye serious about Bennet? He was at fault for the goals against Waaaterford,$hels and Derry.Bring Derek back and Dan would be more comfortable not having to worry about bennet all the time.

why was he at fault for the goal against Derry???

how exactly did you come to that conclusion???

The ball deflected off the wall, wrongfooted Devine and lobbed into the net. Pure fluke.....

He was partially at fault for one of the goals against waterford the other was a ridiculous penalty decision.

He was at fault for the second against Shels..a game where the majority of the players were poor....

In general Bennet has had a very good season at CB. Christ some people here have a 3 game memory????

Against Derry-a stupid lunge just outside the area.Free kick,Goal!
Against Waterford-a simple clearance would have been a lot better.
Against $hels-a brain would have helped!
You say three games, thats 6 points and the next round of the cup.Thats also three games in a row!!!

christ, there's eleven players on the pitch (plus substitutes that come on) a management and coaching staff to get tactics right and players ready to go, along with loads of variables (how well the opposition do, officials etc.)

you can't blame the results on any three consecutive games on a single player.

by your logic, if flynny had knocked in the easy chance -v- derry then bennett's tackle wouldn't have mattered, so let's lynch john instead.

    Foot.ie! Re 3 5 2

It's a handy enough team but I would go with Carey before Horgan at right back or else have Horgan left, Carey right and Woods on the left side of midfield

Remember when Gunther had us playing 3-5-2, Carey played his best football for Cork City at that time.

Give up the Drugs fella!! Hoggy at R.B. and Billy on the other side is working out great so why change, getting back to the original subject(if anybody remembers??) I would be glad to see D.C. back as we have lost 3 C.B.s in the last 2 months and Deccie will probably(hopefully)retire at the end of this season,we're a bit light in defensive cover and you wont get many better replacements than Derek.

you think he wants to leave a team he cant get into to join another team he wont get into.. wake up if he dose come(hopefully not)then he`ll be looking for games not to sit on the bench. if he dose return then it will be a bad move for him and city.

He's already gone from Bohs ya muppet, add to that the fact he has his old job back in the airport,I think a move to city would suit him,and it's not as if he's easily gonna find a club that will guarantee him 1st team football.

I don't think city need to be signing part-time footballers anymore.

Yeah. I don't think Dolan is interested in signing part-time players.

Dolan does want full-timers but i'd say he will take experience over that if coughlan's only going to be a back up for the first team.

It has gone all quiet about him though. Makes you wonder if anything is happening.

Took a bit of time to get Bohs to agree, it seems.
