Killybegs to welcome home soccer star Seamie
Rising soccer star Seamie Coleman will be welcomed back to his hometown of Killybegs this evening.
Following a star-turn at Wembley over the weekend, the people of town are to turn out for a major celebration at 7pm.
The 21-year-old has signed a new four-year deal with Premier League side Everton after helping Blackpool secure their place in the top-flight on Saturday while on loan.
Seamie will be back home in Donegal briefly before he heads off on Everton’s pre-season tour of Australia.
The welcoming party will assemble at St Catherine’s Vocational School at 6.45pm this evening.
Official welcome takes place on the Diamond in Killybegs town centre at 7pm.
