Can you let everyone else know aswell, the sub is one of the more coherrent writers on the thread so far.
We have comic book readers and a chap who describes the Cork weather as grand on this thread but contradicts that in other threads. Not very helpful.

    UCD 'A' 9:0 Limerick 37 'A'

A depleted Limerick team played out their fixtures. They only had one player that had played in the 4:0 hammering of St. Pat's a few weeks ago so UCD toook full advantage.
It was a great performance from them. The goals included a Billy Brennan penalty after Keith Ward weaved his magic to get into the box. Keith hurt his elbow/arm late in the second half and was substituted.
Greg Barron (Barrow?) got a run between the posts in the second half aswell.
Limerick 37 hit the post at the end after the linesman on the UCD half went down injured after he tweaked something.

Ouch. Ward injured his elbow in his last league appearance too.

We're at home for the final next week.

Goals from McMillan (2, not sure which McMillan), Matthews (2), O'Reilly (not sure who either of them are), Harding, Duggan and Billy (penalty).

Assume at this stage the Cobh game is going to be left unplayed, with us receiving expenses.

They got a separate bus down to Cobh but shared the senior team's bus on the journey home as I understand it.

That match was played at 14:00 on the pitch opposite the Sports Centre.
Pegasus and Postal Utd. played out a 2:5 game that morning. Whatever about the pitch, those poor goalnets.

I'd say they're well used to that sort of treatment from Superleague matches.

If we sent in a notification of events as UCD saw them in a timely manner after the weekend that the match was due to be played, there should be a decision shortly (if it hasn't already been made.).

It's hoped it is not as contentious between the Officials of both clubs as this thread has become. I blame myself for not keeping short-tempered UCD fan(s) on a shorter lease.
If we argued our case like those same fan(s) argued the case than we would have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

So the answer is, you don't know but would like a little swipe at others, despite previously expressing your dislike for such measures.

Nothing's been formally decided yet. I'd say it'll be brushed under the carpet as it's a dead game anyway.

Can we please leave the petty squabbling out.

I've don't know what will happen to this match but there's nothing riding on it so I'd be surprised if it's played. Under-21 league seasons often had a game or two unplayed at the end as far as I remember.

The new league website has the final A League table up for last year, incidentally. We were given a 3-0 walkover win over Cobh.
