    V Killester

Killester were given the best chance of an upset in the Star yesterday and looking at the prediction threads many seem to agree.

What do people think? Will there be an upset? What team will play?

Personally no excuse for not playing same 11 as week as long all available with break apporaching. We need a convicing win heading into break for a bit of belief. I think we can win but hope we can keep a clean sheet as well.

The thought of this game gives me a knot in my stomach. Killester have nothing to lose and they can give it a right go. That said, I expect us to win, but it won't be by much.

It's not the 'glamour tie' that Killester would have sought but they will be well up for it against a LOI team and I'm sure they think they are in with a chance of an upset (and why wouldn't they). Leave recent results aside, I think we will be hard to break down and need to take our chances up front when they present themselves. I think this is the sort of game that would suit Danny and hope he starts.
Patience from the players and the fans is the key to this one

Just read on Mick's View that some of our players will be away on holidays for the game of Friday and will start will at least 4 under 18 players. Could be a long game.

Same here. It seems strange that a good few players have taken holidays at the same time. It will be interesting to see who they are. Perhaps players and management taking a brief break from eachother will do a bit of good

Lads, I've seen Killester play a few times this season. The will be very difficult opposition. They don't play particularly pretty football, but rather play a very direct game. The forwards are very sharp, think Keogh is back from playing up north and Lacey will be a handful. Thread carefully.

Not looking forward to this at all. I said at the time it was one of the worst draws we could have got and I stand by that now. A narrow win would be a big relief. With home advantage we should just about scrape through.

Killester manager, Joey Graydon, resigned today after many years in charge.

    we are bothered

wer quiet cause we have a 2 week break! no we were crap, they were not much better, not being disrespectful to them.both sides were missing players.but they created the clearer chances and should have scored instead of hitting the post.we wer our usual selves, lots of huffin n puffin.
a lot of disappointed people left ferrycarrig last week and this continues the attendance figures will drop.its not as if people have jumped on a winning bandwagon, but at least the team was having a go,could we say the same for ALL of the last 7 games?
