Lads a few years ago youse played Portmarnock in the quarter finals of the FAI cup in Tolka park, think it was 2001. Anyways youse won 2-1, I was only 10 at the time and was talking about it the other day with a mate of mine, am I right in thinking you went 1-0 down and won 2-1 with a dodgy peno? Who got taken down for the peno and who scored it?
Also am i right in thinking you got a peno in the next round as well and went through because of it?
Think youse ended up losing to Bohs in the final?
Portmarock went 1-0 up but Keith O'Connor equalised and Paul McNally won it with a penalty with about 10mins left.
Played Waterford in the semi, Maccer scored another peno in a 1-1 draw, we won the replay after Stephen Kelly scored a late... penalty!
Bohs beat us 1-0 in the final.
