Great. Is that the cue for number two on the list to start getting the finger out?

More a cue for number one to get his tracklist finalised and burnt

Got on to Wangball there lads and due to a few reasons his was delayed, but they're good to go and he'll get them posted in the next few days. I'll hold off on my one til after that so so we can keep the list in order and have one of Kingdom Hoop's end of round mash ups

Nice idea but I don't be having decks to mash things up properly so I'd say you just go after Wangball. Though I'll happily (as we all should) post my Best Of, or maybe Best Five, or Mediocre Seven, or something exciting like that.

Just back from a fortnight in the Costa Del Kilkee where we'd several of the comps on the car stereo and on the ipod.

My three year old is now to be heard regailing his grandparents with chorus' of "Rise and Shine ...come on and ride my sister". I'll need to beat that out of him before creche starts back next week.

Unfortunately the one CD I needed to catch up on ...KHs, wouldn't go on the car stereo so I'll be catching up with that over the next few days.
" I wish to God that someone would be able to block out the voices in my head for five minutes, the voices that scream, over and over again: "Why do they come to me to die?"

Well did you catch up with it or was it just too fast-paced?

Also, Jebus did you send yours out yesterday, or will it be next week? At this stage one can only assume Wangball has been abducted by Congolese rebels and his hands and legs are being used as propellers for a wind turbine.

Still recovering after Electric Picnic I'm afraid but we'll start a new round next week. For now we can debate the pros and cons of each other's compilations? I was gonna put up a poll but there inevitably would be someone or some people who don't get a vote and I don't think anyone around here is mature enough to handle that

Sorry to harp on about it again, but is this still a runner or dead in the water or what? Subtle hints are not my strong suit.

Sorry, was meant to post that I was having problems with burning my CD (still unsure of the problem), but have been sidetracked the past 3 weeks with getting ready to move and then moving down to Limerick. Does someone want to go first while I work out what the problem is? We can do up a new running order if it suits?

I think it's worth keeping anyway, threw on a few of the mixes whilst I was packing and they kept the spirits up

Yeah very extreme language there. I'd say myself that it's been enjoying a deserved languid bask in the warm glow emitted by the initial burst of brilliance and that maybe it's time to turn the heat up again.

Coincidentally I just logged on for the purpose of seeing whether I'd been knocked off the list or something as I was half expecting Jebus's second offering for the past while. Not to worry though as it's been good to give each a thorough going over before we loop. Stann's was probably my favourite of the lot, so of course he'll be getting the obligatory award at some stage soon.

I haven't really yet thought of what I'd like to do for the next one and I'm away the weekend so I won't go next week but I'll go whenever after that. Anyway I'd presume from the way he's talking that Stann has got something special waiting to go. Take it away.

I don't want to step on Stann's toes here, but I started piecing together a mix (in my head, mainly) in anticipation of the second round, so if Stann wants to lead, I'll follow, or else I could finish mine off over the weekend and get the ball rolling next week. What say ye?

By all means go ahead Noby. Have half an idea (following the themes suggestion mooted a while ago) but not mad anxious to go first or anything like that. And it's certainly nothing special!
Just wondering what was on the go was all. The subtle hints remark was in case I had missed any!

While I have you here as well Stann, where can I get membership forms for this All Saints Appreciation Society?

I got sidetracked with a bit of wallpapering (should this be in the nostalgia thread?), so all going well I'll finish the cds tonight. Failing that they'll be in the post Wednesday. Failing that I'll delete my offer to get round two up and running, and pass the buck.

I hope you'll be pleased to hear it's been on heavy rotation for a couple of weeks now BUT I don't have the tracklisting to offer a crit. You might post that up here. I know Sigur Ros at the start of it (Superb track but I must admit I'm starting to tire of Sigur Ros lately ...the fcukers everywhere! ...and in a re-run of the tyranny that followed the release of his compatriot Bjorks Debut back in 93 ...you're a knuckle dragger of yesteryear if you don't just love it). Plenty of tasty beats and morsels thereafter but as I say I wouldn't know a good lot of them.

Reading that did just please me actually, cheers.

    04. Amadou & Mariam – Sénégal Fast Food (2005)
    05. Electric Choc – Shock The Beat (1991)
    06. Peter Bjorn & John – The Chills (2006)
    07. Suburban Kids With Biblical Names – Funeral Face (2005)
    08. Jape – Floating (2004)
    09. Etienne de Crécy – Audio Galaxy (2004)
    10. The Velvet Underground – I'll Be Your Mirror (1967)
    11. Vampire Weekend – Mansard Roof (2008)
    12. The Redneck Manifesto – We Still Got It (2005)
    13. Brownout – Laredo 77 (2008)

Generally looking forward to starting up again, but I've got the feeling you in particular are going to produce something stunning Noby. And I don't mean the wallpaper either.

    Why I'm flattered.
The wallpaper is stunning too; that's what happens when you let your 4y/o daughter pick it out.
Anyway, cds are finished, so I'll try and get them in the post this evening. Besides Jebus I presume all addresses are as before, yes?

Noby's Sophomore Slump is, since yesterday, in the capable hands of your local postperson.

I'll stick up the track list later on.
