How do you spell "Gards" ie short for Gardai?
I got pulled up for this, but my critic failed to mention how to spell it.
No Elvis, Beatles or the Rolling Stones

I think it would be guards (as in the English of gardai rather than a shortened version) Anal ***** who ever pulled you up on it though
