not sure, but the League disciplinary committee met on June 30th (i know it's a different body but a suspension would have been placed here) and announced their suspensions yesterday. Heary wasn't on the list of offenders.
Any news about Owen Heary from the League Management Commitee meeting which was supposed to take place on Monday 28th July?
Remember he assaulted Jim O'Neill in front of the shed.
I think a plan is just a list of things that don't happen - Mr Parker

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

If olive oil comes from olives, where does baby oil come from?
You have the likes of Heary getting away with assaulting a referee and then poor old Ollie Byrne nearly goes to jail for a 2 fingered salute to Pats fans.
Whats the world coming to ?
I agree completely with the punishment (or lack of same) in both instances. O' Neill is an absolute gob****e.
I'm gonna take a blow torch to everyone who writes "any info on......." on the desks in the ucc library.
Who's with me
i agree that O'Neill is a poor ref, but you can't condone a player pushing a ref around (i'd say the same if a city player had done it). regardless of the standard of their referreeing you can't have a ref making decisions with the fear of a physical assault hanging over him.
Raise a hand to a ref, automatic red card, minimum three match ban, no matter how big a gob****e the ref is.
No Elvis, Beatles or the Rolling Stones

City can't win...they have a Dublin ref or Jim O'Neill.
As for Heary...it's disgraceful.
