They've a prospective new board member - Giovanni Di Stefano, used to have links with Arkan in Yugoslavia - and this lad wants one Dundee team a month to be picked by a text poll of the fans a la Pop Idol!

The rest of the committee have kindly voted him down by saying that there won't be any interference in first team matters!

Just thinking - I'd love to see all the Dundee United fans hijacking the vote - Dundee end up playing with a centre-forward in nets and two goalkeepers up front!
