That is the most sympathic inteview I have every seen of Olliver Reed. Admittedly is it edited but still the actor and interviewer respond to each other. And the actor allows the interviewer to take alot of liberties. Some intimate moments too. The interviewer earns his place and Reed allows it.
That would never be allowed in a Parkinson/Harty/Wogan interview. When parametres were crossed it was the guest that was to blame and never the host. Pity.
