    eL weekly no show

Anyone know why they didnt show any of the city highlights last night...they even showed Dub Citys goals against Limerick..Two ROvers games and Two UCD games....In all fairness like, they could have at least shown the goals and NOT mentioned the appalling referee.

Yeah. thought that was weird because there was a camera at the game.
Did ye hear the Waterford fans singing "Are you watching Noel King?" though. That was class!

that suggests that the footage was available, why would TV3 not show it. it can't be because it was RTE's footage since TV3 have the rights.

The cameras were not TV3's, so maybe they didn't want the footage, which I doubt or couldn't get it for some reason - RTE getting their first maybe??

All City home games are covered by Chorus, and the footage comes from them.
Some of City away games can also be seen on Chorus, so far this season they have shown St. Pats away, Drogs away, Waterford away.
TV3 has no excuse for not showing any City game. Of course, they have been letting technical staff go from TV3 to save money and this may have something to do with it.

It's true alright. Hope they can start to get a bit more organised, so like match of the day, you know exactly what you're gonna see...

A bit of time management and they'd fit all the matches in...if it is the highlights of the week's action, there's no excuse for not showing a match when the footage is available.
I wanted to see Conor's goal

If they have the footage they'll show it, whoever owned the footage should've sent it on...

BTW there were no cameras at Pats/UCD last night and I don't blame them...

It was a good game actually, but our previous efforts v UCD have been dire so nobody was expecting different this time round. Best we've played v them in years

And probably the worst we've played in a while! I got the impression that three games in 6 six days was a bit much given the size of our squad.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
