It should be played on the Saturday I think. Take full advantage of the Cork travelling support. Great draw though

Euro 2008 is kicking off on that Saturday evening, so if L37 do move it, hopefully it will be an afternoon kick off.

I dont know, if they couldnt be bothered turning up at Turners Cross, are that many (Cork) people really going to travel to Jackman Park? I hope so, but not holding my breath.

I also hope we at least try to venture into their half this time. I was absolutely disgusted with the way we played at Turners Cross, as somebody put it 4-6-0, as soon as we lost posession (which was most of the time), everyone retreated back to our own half. I dont mind losing 3-0 to a decent side if we at least have a go ourselves, but if we dont at least try we're never going to score

Strangely enough Id actually expect more to travel that were in Turners cross that night. A lot of factors culminated in that attendance so Id expect better. Its only an hour and a half up the road

make it in quicker than an hour and a half too. ya i'd expect a good crowd to come up. if the weather is nice and its a saturday or sunday then i'd expect a good attendance at the match.

Really lookin forward to that game already.Should be the biggest gate at Jackman park for a long time.Surely CC will bring a couple hundred? This is where Andrew Mcwhinney will earn his money. He's got to promote this game to the max.the ground will need bit of doin up though, those cork lads wont be used to slummin it!

Unfortunetly the stand wont be there on time. (stand which the LDMC are building in a few weeks) our team has been operatiing on the same 15 players for the last few weeks as we have a lengthy injury list. Purcell, Gregg, Tracy, Harrington and Liam Barrett i think is in the states. All first teamers all missing hope we have a few new names in the squad before the cork game

It's not a good draw cos Mike Kerley will persist with that retarded formation. So far he's worse than Noel O'Connor, save for one or two performances which had us all fooled.

Saturday at 3 would be perfect, no rushing from work(unless you work Saturdays)

Build a bonfire, build a bonfire
Throw Cork City on the top,
Throw the Ramblers in the middle
    And burn the fooking lot

About the best draw we could have hoped for in a lot of ways but we'll be relying on the proverbial 'magic of the cup' to get anything out of it at all if the performance in the League Cup was anything to go by.

Think the Corkies will be out in greater numbers for this one too. From their point of view it's a handy trip to take on a team that they'll expect to beat handily enough.

Will hopefully be a handy few quid for the club.
The ball is round and has many surprises.

Its being played on the Firday at 7.45. Not the best time for it imo, will lesson the away crowd anyway

I agree it's a great draw for us and I guess the coffers, but I hope we're not out-numbered by the rebels after all we're supposed to be at home so no excuses get to Jackman whatever the day is. Pass on the word, english league is over, now get out and watch some football in the flesh.

I'm coming back from England for this one. Here's hoping it's a cracker. Or even better a really dull match that we nick at the end!
