saw a young lad standing in front of me in the Jinks Saturday night with a lovely suit on....also had 2 other important looking lads with him, agent maybe?
he knew a few of our songs too, think he had something to do with Longford a while back?
A bit early but the speculation has started so post what you've heard about upcoming LOI transfers.
Fahrudin Kudozovic to Cork, Drogs or Huddersfield Town.
Seamus Coleman to anyone in UK really.
Barry Cogan[Currently at Gillingham, former Millwall] to Sligo Rovers.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

Paddy McCourt (To West Brom)
Only rumour I heard to come in is Ken Oman. Probably a load of rubbish but rumour is he fell out with Fenlon and is coming back in July. I dont believe it though
Former England prospect Matt Jansen is hawking himself around a few eL clubs, Galway look most likely to bite.
Franco Georgescu likely to be leaving Bray on loan or permanently, he may join Sligo as a short-term replacement if Faz leaves.
There was talk of Dundalk's Ben Whelehan joining Cork on a short-term deal but that seems to have died out in the past week or so.

Jesus, Jansen was a terrific player before his accident. Wonder if he's anywhere near his best. Would be an interesting one to say the least.
We have three lads on trial, two Aussies and a Japanese lad.
Matt Jansen would be a very exciting signing. I didn't realise he was still playing.
There could be some Balkan tensions in Sligo if Faz and Georgescu are playing together!
I phoned the speaking clock to hear a voice speak, it said - "At the tone you will be very much alone"
Healy, Gamble and McCourt to Pats was in the Herald recently. Healy going to Hearts and meant to have agreed conditions, looking for a house over there etc. Gamble in talk with new contract at City though. And McCourt i dunno. Shame if these three dont stay in the league.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
There is no way Paddy will go to Pats.
The BBC say that 2 English Premier league clubs (one being West Brom) are after him, and some Championship sides, as well as Dundee United. Don't think he would leave us for another Irish team anyway.
West Brom (presumably) have already had an offer declined by the Derry Board. Apparently it was 'derisory'. Good to see the board is holding out for a bit of cash. God know's we'll need it to replace him.

I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
I don't think anyone knows 100% for sure what was offered, it now ranges from 80K up as far as 200K.
But as pol said, there may be as much as a 6 way bidding war about to start here, 2 EPL sides, 2 Championship and I think 2 SPL. So with a bit of luck that might offset (a bit) the fact that we have no other bargaining chip.
Healy to Hearts is a very strong rumour doing the rounds alight.
Joey Gamble looks safe though.
"Now jump up there and stuff that son of a bitch in the basket, chief"
Brendan McGill (Gretna) to Bohs has been mentioned a good bit.
It would make sense, weren't Jansen and Kenna at Blackburn together?
I don't know what to think about Jansen. I never thought he was that great before the accident. Haven't a clue what he's like now.
This is a disgrace if it happens. Franco is our best striker. When he plays he is our biggest goal threat. The fans love him and the real reason behind him not playing has to do with him and Eddie not getting on. I was surprised that he signed a new contract (two-year) in the winter.Originally Posted by Sheridan
AFAIK, he's coming back from injury. He played pretty well in the A team game against Pats last week. I hope he stays but Iw ouldn't be surprised if he goes.

I think Franco is class, I'm surprised Gormley is the type of manager to fall out with creative players because he was often enough on the other side of that divide in his playing days.
I wouldn't be too concerned about him leaving imminently, it's one of those domino-effect rumours (i.e., he might go IF Faz leaves and IF Bray identify someone to replace him.) Drogheda were interested just over a year ago but his lack of games at Bray has counted against him in the eyes of the bigger clubs.
