Gamble won't be coming in until next season so presumably they will be letting players go.

Also heard that they have offered Derek O'Brien €3k a week and a signing on fee of €20k. He has 18 months left on his contract at Galway so may be a bit of tapping up going on...

Like red rebel said he's a good player but he is inconsistent. I don't think he's good enough for pats tbh,he wouldn't be in the first team every week. Thankfully he rarely plays well against us,our abuse gets to him imo and seamie coleman is a genius,but if he ever does score against us,he's gonna come straight over to our fans and take the p1ss out of us. I hope to God it never happens!!

He would be a great signing for a team like cobh,especially cos ye lack a bit of firepower up front. If he hadn't left sligo rovers like such a pr*** he would have been a great signing for us,but our fans would never accept him back and rightly so.
