There were 2 live feeds on MNS. Showed the 2 goals. First was a good strike that went through some bodies and took a deflection. Second was a good run from potter, took a shot and the keeper was in no mans land.

Much improved performance according to Tony O Donoghue

you think we'd be able to keep clean sheets against plumbers and postmen.

Clearly Trap's defensive message hasn't got through to the players yet.

no, o'shea is a disaster waiting to happen at CB. We need O'Brien back there really otherwise it'll be another McGrath/Babb like partnership at the back with Dunne making up for the other CB's shortcomings. Obviously thats not ideal when you're up against the likes of Berbatov. If Dunne's injured at all god help us.

O'Brien Dunne would instill a lot of confidence.

I think its great to have a couple of training games before an actual International Friendly, iron out a few bugs!

Why call up players and have them train and be squaddies? Trap has called up 7 uncapped players and now seen them in action, and will know if they have taken on what they've been told by the new regieme.

I'm looking forward to Serbia match! But even so, won't get carried away, or disgruntled. I think we should be capable of beating Serbia, they will be similar to Montenegro, so can we get 6 points here, where last season we would only have taken 1 or 2!

Does anyone know what feedback there has been on the new players? Rowlands played well in 1st match.

They are only bounce games lads. I would read nothing at all into them. The friendlies are where we'll see if Traps ideas are showing or not.
    Top Breeders recommend drinkfeckarse....

The friendlies wont matter either. It will be apparent from the competitive games what chance we have in qualifying.

It is good to get as many games as possible under their belts before the real stuff starts in Sept. As Trap says, the more games they play under him the more chance they have to get rid of the bad habits learned (in the loosest sense of the word) under Staunton...

Ok lads, these matches meant nothing. You know Man Utd got beat by that Saudi Arabian team.

They're only there to get the players in some sort of match shape.
