Well actually three of them came on. My point is they have that kind of strength in their side (We're talking Zayed, Keegan, O'Brien and Barrett, iirc) and Doolin goes with Grant and O'Keefe (iirc) ahead of them and not one of the five that played could score. They also have Ristila, Thiam and Bates, to mention a few. How he couldn't get two forwards on the pitch that could score a goal is beyond me.

Worst team - Sorry to say, but Harps.
Most disappointing team (with good individual players) - I'd probably have to say Cork. They've got a pretty useful side and although they could have gotten a point from us on the day, overall I thought they played within themselves and lacked something fundamental from a side that you'd expect to be challenging for league honours.
    Surprise team - Bray
Who'll be relegated - Cobh, Galway, Harps
Best result for your team - Win away to Drogheda
    Best opposition - Pats
Best opposition player - Fahy with an honourable mention to McCourt.
Worst opposition player - Malcolm (Harps)
Who'll be champions - Here I plead the 5th amendment. I certainly think that Bohs have a good chance, Pats are stronger than they were last year. I don't think Cork will do enough to catch up although stranger things have happened. I don't think that Derry will do enough especially if they lose McCourt and Drogheda are in a relatively comfortable position considering their poor form early on. So one from Bohs, Pats or Drogheda. Really difficult to say right now.

    Worst team - Finn harps
Most disappointing team (with good individual players) - Cork. I expected much more of a challenge to come from them but it just didn't happen. They seem to lack balance especially in the midfield.
    Surprise team - Bray
Who'll be relegated - Harps, cobh, galway
Best result for your team - Win against cork
Best opposition - Drogheda. A better team then they were last year imo.
Best opposition player - John o'flynn. (if he kept fit it would make a huge difference to cork).
Worst opposition player - Stuart Malcolm
Who'll be champions - Ourselves. I think we have what it takes this year. I think our closest challengers will be drogheda though. If they start getting the results then they will run us close. I think bohs will fade.

That should have been Harps btw.

I have no idea what his name is, and no intention of trawling the internet to find the name/picture of a random opposition player I couldnt care less about just for a thread on here.Maybe if he'd been better Id remember his name

Im sure you'll cope without it Gustavo

    Worst team - Finn Harps
Most disappointing team (with good individual players) - Bohemians. Only for Killian Brennan I think they would be floundering.
Surprise team - St. Pats. Shown championship qualities
Who'll be relegated - Harps, cobh, UCD
Best result for your team - Beating Harps convincingly
    Best opposition - Cobh Ramblers
Best opposition player - Gary O'Neill
Worst opposition player - Dessie Baker
Who'll be champions - St. Pats

Worst team - Shamrock R. (Most Pats fans say FH but I wasn't there)
Most disappointing team(with good individual players) - Cork City
Surprise team - (Minus)Galway should be doing better.
Who'll be relegated - Cobh, Finn Harps and Shamrock R.(purely because UCD and Galway won't)
Best result for your team - 1-0 away to Bohes
    Best opposition - Drogheda
Best opposition player - UCD full back?? captain I think
Worst opposition player - Hard to say
Who'll be champions - Derry City. (I think it'll be close between Pats, Bohes, Derry and Drogs and we'll regret not taking the league cup seriously)

    Worst team - Harps, unfortunately
Most disappointing team(with good individual players) - Was disappointed with Derry when we played them, but more so with Drogheda United.
    Surprise team - Bray
Who'll be relegated - Harps, Cobh and Galway
Best result for your team - home win v UCD
    Best opposition - Pats
Best opposition player - Keith Fahey of St Pats
Worst opposition player - Clive Delaney
Who'll be champions - It's St Pats' to lose I reckon

A dive for the goal in the first game and us not bothering to show up in the second half of the second doesn't make Mons any better. In fairness I haven't watched Kildare or Athlone yet this year so you may not be the worst team in the league, but Mons are the worst I have seen, in the second game especially

I've seen all three of them and Kildare are by far the worst. Would probably put Monaghan slightly ahead of Athlone. Wexford have improved since last season. Limerick are the only team I haven't seen yet.

[QUOTE=thischarmingman;945494]Surprise team - Sligo Rovers have done well but it has to be Bray. It has to be said they've gotten lucky at times and they will go through a bad spell at some point but I've been impressed with the way they've quietly got on with things, leaving other teams to fight it out among themselves at the bottom. Also, Sligo have two star players in Coleman and Kudozovich that Bray lack.[QUOTE]

Paddy Kavanagh, Ger Rowe, Alan Cawley would be my reply to that.

    Worst team - Galway.
Most disappointing team (with good individual players) - Drogheda
    Surprise team - Bray Wanderers
Who'll be relegated - Finn Harps, Galway and Cobh Ramblers.
Best result for your team - Drogheda 1-0 win because they are the biggest scalp, but i think our wins over Galway and Cobh are far more important.
    Best opposition - St. Pat's
Best opposition player - Keith Fahey or Jason Gavin
Worst opposition player - Athlone's centre back combo
Who'll be champions - Bohemians (depending on who they bring in during the window)

Cant see how we are the team the dissapointed you the most ? Unless you actually wanted us to win the game that is .We played really well against you . we scored a perfectly good goal that wasnt given and you had a man handle the ball on the line and get away with it , not even booked .Dont get me wrong ,we have been dissapointing but certainly not in that game .

Worst team - Harps or us.
Most disappointing team(with good individual players) - Cork City
Surprise team - Bray or Sligo
Who'll be relegated - Finn Harps, U.C.D. and Cobh Ramblers
Best result for your team - League Cup win over Sligo, not because it was Sligo but because we got a 0-0 draw away at a good team.
    Best opposition - Pats
Best opposition player - Keith Fahey
Worst opposition player - Harps centre half (Malcolm I think)
    Who'll be champions - Pats.

What ? the question was "Most disappointing team" i answered Drogheda, your budget is one of the highest in the league and about 4 or 5 times what we have, on paper your squad pretty much ****s all over ours yet only goal difference seperate our teams after 10 games. Your the defending league champions and i think you have been dissapointing this season.

But i would agree i thought you were absolutely fantastic against us a few weeks ago and on another day you would have beaten us by about 4 or 5 but that's the type of luck we have been missing out on for the past 20 years !!!!
