    End of series 1 opinions

Well, we've all played each other once so what do you think so far?

Answer these based on this season so far:

    Worst team - Finn Harps
Most disappointing team(with good individual players) - Cork City
    Surprise team - Sligo Rovers
Who'll be relegated - Finn Harps, U.C.D. and Cobh Ramblers
Best result for your team - Given our record up there, 0-0 away to Derry.
    Best opposition - St. Pat's
Best opposition player - Keith Fahey
Worst opposition player - Stephen Parkhouse
    Who'll be champions - Bohemians

I think Pat's and Bohs will run close together throughout the season, with Bohs eventually taking the title in the end. Cork will improve after Matthews gets the chop. Galway will strengthen and I think the other 3 are worse which will see them go down. Hard to know what we'll do, if we keep all our good players in July and bring in a couple more then I think we might continue to do well but I think that's a big if.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

    Worst team - Finn Harps
Most disappointing team(with good individual players) - City
    Surprise team - Bray
Who'll be relegated - Finn Harps, Galway and Cobh Ramblers
Best result for your team - Wow this question is depressing....Sligo?
    Best opposition - St. Pat's
Best opposition player - Keith Fahey
Worst opposition player - Harps centre back
Who'll be champions - Not a clue tbh. It should be Pats but I can see McDonnell screwing it up again, I dont think Bohs will but who knows.

Their is no worst team for me, I think some of the clubs relegated will still go on good unbeaten/ hardly unbeaten runs and at times will be the form teams in the Division. Just because the opposition they play are vunerable.

Bray are bigger suprise than Sligo, only because they are starting from further back. Both have shown they can create a home fortress.
Derry in third is a shock, I had to sit down.

Drogheda were head and shoulders above us when they played us. Other clubs beat us but didn't show as much.

The four draws in a row ramped us up each time to know that the league is still the league and we can get individual results from anyone. By the end there will be big gaps in the Division but per match not so much.

Our biggest opponent, our own belief and the man in the middle.

    St. Pats at the moment.

Worst team - Finn Harps, though haven't seen Galway play.
Most disappointing team(with good individual players) - Cork City
Surprise team - Sligo Rovers have done well but it has to be Bray. It has to be said they've gotten lucky at times and they will go through a bad spell at some point but I've been impressed with the way they've quietly got on with things, leaving other teams to fight it out among themselves at the bottom. Also, Sligo have two star players in Coleman and Kudozovich that Bray lack.
Who'll be relegated - Finn Harps, Cobh and Shamrock Rovers. Yup, you read it here first.
Best result for your team - St. Pats 0-1 Derry City. Still the only team to have beaten them this season and what a performance it was. Icing on the cake was going one better 3 days later.
    Best opposition - St. Pat's
Best opposition player - Keith Fahey
    Worst opposition player - Thiam
Who'll be champions - Pats. Have to do it this year. If they collapse like they did last year and the year before then Mc Donnell should go. They have the squad this year, they're getting the results, they'll do it.

Rubbish. I think any manager, especially one such as Matthews with a decent track record deserves more of a chance than 11 games.

Well had an answer written out and it vanished, but TCM has, in the meantime, given all the right answers - I couldn't remember Thiam's name but I picked him too; only diff. is that I have seen Galway and they're even worse than Harps. Hope we win the league obv. but wouldn't dare predict it.

Also, can I add most enjoyable other team? the answer is Cork; games against them always bring out the best in us, but, even under Matthews, they're good to watch.

Stuart Malcom, I would have said him or Roddy if it was just plain worst player

I hope to be reminding you of this next Friday!

It was a long time you saw us play anyway and we've had 2 managers since then!
