Nice humourous tribute article here which suggests that the "Carsley Role" executed by the man himself could have restored greater glory to Real Madrid. It has a grain of truth about it
The Carsley Role
Everton would have kept him if they could. Moyes said
""I’d like to thank Lee Carsley for his years at Everton Football Club. He has undoubtedly been a big part in our success in the last few seasons.
"Lee feels he now needs to be closer to his family and everyone at the club fully appreciates that.
"He’s been a fantastic player on and off the field and he goes with my best wishes and we wish him all the best in the future."
Good one here also

Good luck to him.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
Wow, hopefully he can take his chance and offer himself up for a permanent role. His columns in the Times the past few months have shown he has a really astute reading of the game - hopefully that can translate to management.
Carley takes the reigns as caretaker boss for Coventry for a second time following Robins controversial departure...
