    V Kildare County

Can we get a result in Kildare and much above Longford at least over night anyway.

Personally I think yes we can if we play like we did against Limerick I can see us getting at least a draw but as we all know constitenance is not our strong point.

The kind of game we need to be winning to achieve mid table this season. A point is the minimum required. Away form has been pretty awful so far, hope to see that change tonight.

I'm getting the train down to this myself, looking forward to my first visit to Station Road.

    Worst. Game. Ever.

    Ever.

    Ever.

    Ever.

Seriously, didn't think we could play worse than Fingal.
The singing crowd was badly missed, no atmosphere at all. The team never gave us anything to shout about, and we were willing to shout with the slightest encouragement.

The pitch was like concrete, and the ball bobbled all over the shop, but it was no excuse, the Youths didn't seem to try pass it anyway. Kildare put 7 passes together in the second half and it was by a long way the most in the match.

Team just never seemed to get going at all, don't think there was a tackle in the game. The players didn't seem to help each other either, countless times a player got a ball in space and hoofed it, without a single shout to let him know he had time (and believe me we would have heard it). Hard to understand how they were so lacklustre, no complaints about the team selection, it was more or less as expected. Not sure about the substitution bringing off Richie Fitz and bringing on Browne. Hardly any point bringing on a target man, then still playing long balls over the top or into the corners, never really worked the wings to get in crosses or played intelligent diagonal long balls that favour the target man.

It fair to say there's still miles to go before we sleep.

See ye all in Tolka in a few weeks for the Shels game (although I'm starting to think I bring bad luck)!

Just back from Kildare - shockingly bad. Could have been four down at half-time as Kildare had about six good chances (one goal disallowed) while we had only a goal disallowed for off-side. Mick was obviously unhappy as he made two substitutions before half-time. Got demolished in the air all over the pitch and had no composure on the ball.

Second-half wasn't much better and with the exception of one shot by Kyle Dempsey never looked like scoring. Browner won a few headers in the second-half after coming on as a sub.

Kildare just wanted it much more than us.

Did well to make three minutes of highlights out of that.
Footage is pretty good, considering it was only a small, hand-held camera. I'm assuming that was you guys standing at the corner of the stand?
I'd imagine most of your audio was the four of us sitting just beside ye in the back row moaning!
