    End of Series 1.

Absolutely disgraceful and an embarrassment to the club when you look at our performances the past decade.

I missed one of our credible results in the Rovers away draw but haven't seen us play well this season.
I really think people don't realise how bad this malaise is.
We will certainly finish outside the top four for the first time in how long(?) with arguably our best ever squad.

Our most consistent players, Murray, Gamble and Hoggy have never looked so workmanlike.

    Our discipline is terrible.

Apart from Kearney and maybe Healy, each and every player has shown a marked deterioration in their personal game.

To say something in Mathews favour, he lost the one player that could have put shape to this team in Leon McSweeney.
Regardless, he went and splashed the cash in central midfield and right back, hardly slots needing improvement.
He now should know that this area needs fixing. Sort it!
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

O'Bama - "Eerah yeah, I'd say we can alright!"

    G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!

Darragh Ryan, Darren Murphy, Billy Woods, Colin O'Brien, Mark McNulty, David Meyler, Alan O'Connor have not featured that much in the first team this year and should be replacing players when they have shown a marked deterioration in their personal game.

Rossiters goal tonight was a peach, we never take shots like that.

We have not been passing the ball well at all this year.

We have yet to have a decent game.

All things that can change the outcome of games for us and all things we can change. Its there to do, we just have to do it.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

It is hard to find any positive this season.

We have good players but they are under performing & not playing as a team.
    Our tactics are hoofing.
Poor organisation at both attacking and defending free kicks.
Very poor discipline when things not going our way.
Too much arguing between players on the pitch.
Choice of bench players hopeless - Why have O'Brien, Lordan & Murphy there tonight? None of them offer chance to change the game.

Unfortunately can't see how Matthews has changed the team aside from long balls into the corner.

We are where we are because thats where we deserve to be. People who thought that Mathews was going to deliver are so far off the mark its untrue. He had no credentials whatsoever of managing a professional club. he is clearly out of his depth and you could see the pressure on his face in the post match interview.

The next 2 games are huge (ffs how often has that been said already this season). 3 points is Bray is far from a formality given their decent form of late, and Shams always give us a stern test at The Cross. 6 points and Everything Will Be Grand I suppose.
