Was a pleasure to have you here sir! Sorry bout the slagging you got from the committee!
Oh and it was James Hand and Stephen McCrossan btw!
Not sure they will be thrilled that you put their names out there, so you are a marked man!
What a game! Monaghan really deserved a draw last night. their goalkeeper was easily man of the match! it was a very entertaining no score draw...
Two very strange things happened at the match.. Firstly a helicopter lands onto the pitch running alongside the main pitch.. Guess who runs out just before the game started John Gill of all people! he was coming back from his brothers wedding!
then when I was enjoyin the co of magicme and associates in the club bar i heard that three monaghan players Danny Woods James McCrossan and Stephen Hand were involved in a traffic accident on the way home from the match.. Their cars all bumped into each other at a Monaghan traffic light!!
I seem to be a good luck charm to monaghan utd with the good result last night...So i wait with abated breath to see waht happens next when I next visit monaghan! thanks magicme for bein a wonderful host... great setup there..
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

Ha ha Martinho.
Yeah that was the official attendance Dunny.
Fare must be pretty bad in Longford Martinho if you thought that game was entertaining! (In terms of goalmouth action anyway). Having been beaten by them 3-0 twice already this season we went out to keep it tight and achieved that. Could have nicked it in the 2nd half with Maher and Collins having clear chances, but then they hit the bar and Whelehan could've (indeed should've) scored at the back post before half time. Draw a fair result.
Aw now, behave yourself! Am not that good a host!!
BTW, the "shocker" in the title is that John Gill needed the helicopter at all. He can walk on water so surely flying would have been no trouble to him!
Apparently the opening line to Gill's team talk was "This match is not about me arriving by helicopter."
Sounds about right!
i was speakin to a friend of the monaghan utd keeper in dundalks lounge last nite!! he read my thread about the incident and found it very amusing! good I am gettin famous down there now!! had the pleasure of speakin to the lillywhite last nite as well..
