Where did you get that idiotic catchphrase?

"It's time for the FAI to grow up." John O'Donoghue, Minister for Sport, RTE , Sunday 7 Nov 2004
Where did you get that idiotic catchphrase?
A leading authority on League of Ireland football since 2003. You're probably wrong.
" I'll go right up to here,
it can't possibly hurt.
All they will find is my
beer and my shirt."
Scully rang O'Brien, Rice and Murphy and ordered them not to travel and not to play on Tuesday against Northern Ireland. He said that if they did play they would be training with the reserves for the rest of the week and wont be playing for the 1st team on Friday. I was told this by Barry Murphy's brother.
Looks like he didn't have the balls to go through with the threats then judging by tonight's Friday Sportsnight.
Kom Igen, FCK...
Anything that gets scully this wound up must intrinsically be a good thing....
The problem with Pat Scully is that he thinks he is Roy Keane. Newsflash...........Pat, you're not.
Do people up North complain about Jeffrey being their U-23 manager?
I don't think there's enough involved to give someone the position full-time and, obviously, with Fenlon being the manager of one of the top clubs he's going to select some of his own players but, afaik, he's being objective and doing a good job.
Tapping up can happen anywhere. It's not confined to football matches.

Abri o portão de ouro, da maquina do tempo.
Mi mamá me hizo guapo, listo y antimadridista.
a couple of points need to be made :
.it IS a conflict of interest for rival manangers to be at the helm of international games where they can use that time to attempt to tap up opposition players. nutsy tried it with ger rowe and failed so whats to say he wouldnt try it again. once bitten twice shy etc .
pat scully does not think he is roy keane,he does however take the matra "professional" a bit too far, especially with rovers having damn all money and players being part time
sheridan - your like a castrated puppy looking in the window of the crufts competition.
knock it on the head like a good lad eh.
Shamrock Rovers- Where trophies are won and envy is scarce
not very placid are you - I demand a name change - probably to "Slightly Annoyed Casual"
Like I said - I didn't hear any moaning when Stuart Pearce was managing both Manchester City and the England U-21s - and as superfrank above has said - I've heard of no complaints regarding David Jeffrey
Kom Igen, FCK...
yeah but with regard to nutsy he has tried it before ,hence scully's paranoia.
cant be very placid when we're having a moxy season
youse winning the league would put me right over the fence but dont think it'll happen
Shamrock Rovers- Where trophies are won and envy is scarce
Scully is quite obviously - as has been the case for some time - grasping about for ways of taking the spotlight off the most glaring isue, which is his side's results.
He's going to come to the realisation sooner or later that abusing the fact that hacks like him (largely due to his being a bit of a rent-a-quote at this stage) isn't such a good idea. They'll eventually start to bite the hand that feeds them, and then any protestations about being 'taken out of context' will seem a bit thin.
In fairness to Fenlon, he would have been justified in reacting by questioning whether Scully's publicly making accusations about his professional integrity.
"Even if the wind stops to blow
Even if the sea ceases to flow
Even if the sun ceases to rise
The name of Sligo Rovers will shine and shine forever like the morning star glittering in the sky."
Today's Irish Star has a reaction from Fenlon, including his reaction to Pat Dolan's criticism of him. According to the Star Nutsy did not give interviews before or after Sunday's game to Setanta Ireland. I think Fenlon also asked that when we don't have a representative side we complain, now that we do we complain.
" I'll go right up to here,
it can't possibly hurt.
All they will find is my
beer and my shirt."
was wondering why fenlon wasnt interviewed sun evenin on setanta now it makes sense!
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
Sorry, what you highlighted. It was suggested in the article that Pat Fenlon was distancing himself from Sentanta Ireland because of comments made by Pat Dolan on Friday (I believe Friday).
A Face if you're going to use emotive terms like tapping up you should give a clear definition, even if it's just your own definition.
" I'll go right up to here,

Fenlon responds to Scully's remarks in his after match interview on the official Bohs site... www.bohemians.ie
Yer hame team is yer ain team!
think he called it a "cheap shot" on Friday Sportsnight last week in the build up to the Cork game
Kom Igen, FCK...
Fenlon should resign his position as u23 coach seeing as Don Givens is currently coaching them in Malaysia
Or at least change the name to Fenlon's side...
