    If you ask me how much Javier Mascherano cost Liverpool from West Ham, I'd tell you it was €25 million, simply because it was. Steve Staunton lives in the UK. Did we quote his salary as Ireland coach in Euro or his currency??

    We don't use other countries' currencies here, so why quote it??

    Now we see the concrete evidence that Finnan who has a reputation for being decisive, had indeed reversed a decision he made a few months after he announced his retirement last January.
    He may not have a lot to offer the team at this stage of his career but typical of the player's character he won't make or want any fuss over himself and just play to the best of his ability if picked.

    Glad to see him back. He's reconsidered his original decision and has come back into the fold. End of story.

    Its a marked contrast to the epic Stephen Ireland pantomime that trundles on.
