Participants will learn English through Bohs-related material, such as match programmes and player profiles and interviews, and will visit two Bohs games during the course. Match reports will make up the homework!

Can we get Mark O'Neill/Cummins on this?

Any chance of a job for a skilled, experienced, and qualified English language teacher and footie fan who's thinking about coming home?

A very novel idea - albeit slightly bizarre.

I can see it working though - non-nationals won't have the same hostility towards domestic football that the Oirish have, and getting kids youing is key.

Good luck to Bohs - I hope they get more support out of this.

Derry are close to announcing something similiar. Our model is based on the very succesful "Playing for Success" model.

The club is working with a local regneration group on this and involved the development of a dedicated Study Support Centre. Builders have been appointed and it is estimated the centre will be complete in August 08. Whilst "off site" at the moment, the plan is to move the centre to the Brandywell post redevelopment.

I was involved in the research and feasability and those plans were anything to go by, it will be an exciting project.

I'm sorry BGR this will have to be moved to the Bohs forum, we all know the commotion that's caused if someone posts about a GUFC initiative in the EL section
There's the right way, the wrong way.... and the Max Power way!! :-D

An Irishman coming home from Japan to teach foreign kids English is about as confusing as it gets!!

Good man Ronnie. In English, it's spelt Phibsborough, as it happens.
