    Good draw for us. Better to be away as it would cost us money at home.

    We did ok against them the last time we played them so i reckon we should be alright. But its a cup game and they have knocked us out before so we cant take it for granted.

    Great draw for us. Hopefully we should get a 1500+ gate and we'll have a chance, albeit a small one, of a giant killing act.

    Will ye're supporters travel for the game? How many do ye expect?

    Its hard to say really. I hope to travel up. Can't make a decision till nearer the time, but the thing that could stop supporters from travelling is the L.C and J.C etc. We should still have aroubd 200 up there anyway hopefully more.

    I'd say there will be a big crowd from City at the game. Its nearly less than an hour down the road now so its handy out. I have near actually been to Jackman Park. Is there parking near by yeah? Dont think we can park in the train station to be honest.

    I think will easily get 500 at this game depending on what time it is played - not a Friday evening. Easy access & relative novelty factor.

    A 2.00 pm start on the Sunday would be great I think, but Cork play Tipp in the hurling championship same day, so that fcuks that....

    The parking's not great. The train station car park is fairly small. The street directly outsdie the gate will probably be coned off, but you'll be able to park further up the street, again limited space. Other than that, its just nearby streets -head toward the town centre rather than the other directions- probably wont be many free spaces on a Saturday, plus you'll need to get parking discs (nearby shop will have them).

    I'd suggest you get here early-ish, park in one of the multi-stories in the town centre and walk out to Jackman, its not very far 10-20mins.

    The train station is on Parnell Street which is rough as.

    Jackman is about a 10 minute walk from O Connell Street in Limerick, about 15 from Cruises Street (max), so City Centre pub would be the best.

    For a spacious effort I would say Charlie Chaplin on Cruises Street, or maybe Baker Place which is around the corner from the Train Station.

    Its on Friday, 7.45pm kick-off, so you will have a better chance of finding a parking space nearer the ground, also it will be free after 6pm (no disc required).

    Thumbs up

    Train to Limerick via Limerick Junction

    Cork -> Limerick - 17:30 -> 19:03
    Limerick -> Cork - 22:00 -> 23:55

    Ticket Web Price
    Adult € 32.00
    Child € 16.00
    Faircard € 22.00
    Student € 15.80

    http://www.irishrail.ie/home/

    Obviously there are earlier trains as well, but 10.00 is the last one. Tickets are probably cheaper if not bought online.

    Bus eireann irish rail and the blue and yellow city link buses leave pretty late from Limerick to cork check out their website. Ground is basic lads its not called De Jacks for nothing. Our more experienced players are injured or away so expect an under 21ish side to be against ye.
