all round last night I thought he was poor, very noticeable that nearly every attempted pass by him didnt stick, handing possession back to the Kazakhs.
Havin a weekend away is quite frankly, lettin ur team mates down!
O'Neill on Wilson after Poland: http://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/inter...487941-wilson/
He played at centre-back. He has little bit of presence about him and he can also play at left-back - I had a thought in my mind to push him over there to have a look.
But I put him into midfield because he's confident on the ball - maybe too confident on the ball and takes a risk or two - but he's a very fine footballer.
Looks like O'Neills good judgement mirrors my good judgement.
To be honest I felt more at east with him at CB, but I'm not sure I would like to see him there permanently. He definitely is a bit wayward at times though and we saw it last night on the 18 yard line.
I'm a bloke,I'm an ocker

is he playing centre half tonight?Hopefully he is as it is his future for us so comfortable on the ball stepping out
It looks like he is, unless he's on the right and Cameron in the centre.
silky presence beside the rugged shawcross. Wood they both been at utd together?
Wilson was never at Manchester United - he went straight from Lisburn to Portsmouth. Somebody on wikipedia has a lot to answer for.
He was but that's just a camp. As far as I know, all the players there still train and play with their clubs. I don't think they even play games. And Shawcross wouldn't have been there anyway.
Wasn't Shawcross free or close to it?

Hughes praises Wilson.
Sent off for a professional foul in the box. Sounds like he didn't have much of a choice as it was a nailed-on goal.
I think if it's a nailed on goal it is best to let them have the goal rather than get sent off.
Was the same thing at Everton today, keeper sent off, but to be fair I think the striker
played to get the keeper sent off, looked like he could have scored but instead chose to go
down and get a penalty and the keeper sent off.
Didn't see the Villa game myself though, Whelan also sent off.
I was expecting calamitous stuff from both Whelan and Wilson but watching the highlights I thought both of Whelan's yellows were a bit harsh and Wilson's was just one of those things, an attempted tackle on a forward about to shoot. The forward was happy to go down.
