    Match against Sporting Fingal.

Back to other matters... a one all draw with them getting a late penalty. How did we play for the match? Was it a penalty?

We played pretty well, disappointing that we didn't hold out but a draw was probably a fair result. Fingal are decent. The penalty was harsh but they'd had a similar one turned down in the first half which was probably more of a penalty. Rushe took his goal well. oVerall, I'd have taken a point before the game. Unbeaten in four now so hopefully we can keep it going against Waterford.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

it will be probably the last time we ever play waterford utd if they cant get themselves together over the next few weeks.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

Played well enough, as stated it was never a penalty, but Fingal had enough chances to equalise after we scored, hitting the crossbar and gallagher pulling off a great save.
Impressed with gallagher of late, looks a good prosepect. I still feel we need another centre mid, Hardy looks decent in the middle, but rushe is too small and after Dáire's alleged antics, we are very short there.
Overall positive result, and if we can pick up 3 points against waterford, it would consolidate us in the top half of the table i would feel
