I myself would have liked to have bought four but I'm not 100% sure the tickets will arrive. Unlike their French equivalent, FNAC, a sort of Virgin Megastore also found in Italy, Ticketcorner will not allow you to pick up the tickets from one of their outlets. Unless I had firm commitments to underwrite the late, or non, arrival of tickets I'd be left with a huge bill.

Touts? Try Euroteam, which I did and got a ticket for £120. Its DHL delivered and covered by credit card. Yeah a rip - off (unless you support Chelsea, and therefore quite reasonable). But cheaper than £499 with Ray Crazy Travel for a daytrip from Dublin.

    More Touts

You will be able to pick up tickets from time to time on the Swiss Ebay. For example http://cgi.ebay.ch/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...category=34988 is selling a ticket for 170 CHF or about 120 odd Euro. I guess if you check in between now and the game there might be better offers than this.

Have you had your tix from ticketcorner yet, BB. Got mine this morning. Sent Registered post so you can't claim you never got them and can I have two more tickets for my mates here, please.

Very fast service. I honestly thought they'd take my money and claim the tickets were sent out, and then I'd get them just in time for Christmas. Well we are talking about the same shower that told the Jews: 'Your gold is safe with us.'

yeah , I received the 2 from ticket corner but not from Euroteam yet.....even thoug Euroteam took the cash from my credit card in early July...getting a bit worried .though I did speak to a Euroteam guy based in London called Eddie(German type accent) and he assured me that he would have tickets for me and they will be sent 2 weeks prior to the game.

Not too bothered about them myself as they did say they'd send the tickets in late September and early October and by DHL. Good to see there is a human voice to the organisation. I had the same worries before earlier in the year in Madrid, with a different firm, but they still came up with the tickets. Depsite being touts, they do have a business to run. Suppose they have still got to collect the tickets from our Swiss pal Sioux and his ilk.

I take it you live in Ireland? If so this sort of put paid to the Swiss FA's demand that no tickets be sold to Irish fans by Ticketcorner, as told to the chairman of the London RISSC only last week. Hopefully we were not the only lucky ones, eh?

No , I live in London , am also in the RISSC, but after reading the newletter recently , I gace up all hope of getting a tickets from them. Very grim reading indeed as I have only been amamber since before the WC last year and am not a blockbooker in Lansdowne.

By the way , I reckon loads of Irish fans got tickets on ticketcorner.ch

If you look around the Irish soccer websites you can see that many were successful, and I would say that many of them are resident in Ireland.

Ticketcorner is just a business and I'd say they sold on a first come first serve basis or in the case of web application , those who were lucky enough to get through to a very busy website. I would very much doubt if they were ina position to discern as to who was buying and where they were resident....if you noticed you had almost immediate confirmation of booking ....so how could they differentaite and make a decision as to whether fan x got a ticket over fan Y

Although not a blockbooker, am a founding member. But still no chance of tickets. Still glad to get a result here, because it may well be same again if we make the playoffs. If you are going to the meeting tonight might see you there for a pint. Ask Dec F for us.
