Waterford United v Wexford Youths

Waterford United will look to continue the form shown in last weekend's 5-0 defeat of Monaghan United as they play host to Wexford Youths this Friday at the RSC (KO 7:45pm).

The Blues took all three points from Wexford in the first game of the season at Ferrycarrig, the first ever league meeting between the sides, and they'll be aiming to start the second series of matches in similar fashion.

Wexford Youths FC will be looking for revenge against Waterford United at the RSC on Friday night, after Mick Wallace's side lost their opening game of the season against Waterford United at Ferrycarrig Park in March.

Waterford won 2-1 but Wexford put in a very encouraging performance and Wallace hopes his side will improve on their poor showing away to Sporting Fingal last week.

"We gave Waterford a good game earlier in the season and there wasn't much between the sides," Wallace said. "The surface down there won't help us as it's not great. They'll be favourites but that doesn't bother us."

Wexford have a full squad to choose from with Paul Murphy, Stuart Lawlor and Garrett Larkin undergoing late fitness tests, but all are expected to play.

Sensational headline for a forum with a piece written where Wallace himself does not directly mention revenge but the person who wrote it does to make it seem more interesting.

lol nah i am not just took it from the EiromLOI site of course which had that as the headline....We were hard done by in that game, we were given feck all free kicks for challenges that can only be accounted on occasions as not fit for a football field.
