think we'll get a draw,if we play like we did against Shams,as bad as Shams were. And a good time to be had by all
Was confident before the Galway game. Worried the two difficult games in the last week may take its toll. Hopefully Boco, Peers and Murphy all make it. A point would be a great result.....

I hope the lads pick themselves up and go out and enjoy it no pressure on them for this match. Good luck Reds
I see there is no news of Boco being out up on the site.
He's a doubt along with Murphy Ventre and Peers.

spoke to gerry carr this morning re above and he said that peers, boco, murphy all faced a late fitness test to morrow. did'nt mention anything about danny ventre. a draw would be a great result here especially as cork lost there last two games. am i correct on that score? our defence will have to perform very well. best of look rovers
Of all the teams to thrash Galway United recently, Cork City were the poorest. in fact, they were crap. Last year, under Richardson, City were powerful and fast. When they came to Galway a few weeks ago, they were pedestrian; Matthews hasn't won them over yet.
Sligo are the form team in the League at the moment and could easily pick up 3 points.
Looking forward to the game. Mauro will score again, guarantee. A point would be unbelieveable, a win would cause for drinking a bottle of rum to celebrate
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
TBH After seeing us vs. Galway on Tues, If Rommy isn't playing we may find it hard to score...faz and Judgey both seem to be a wee bit off form...
Hopefully they'll come good tomorrow though!
Raging I won't make it tomorrow...all this Leaving Cert nonsense...
Hope ye give Ski a great ovation

I don't necessarily think it is a case of them being off form but I think they are too similiar type players. Boco gives us a different dimension
"Overwhelmed"
Does anyone know Odds on Rovers to win ?
Leaving for Cork now, hope it's as good a trip as it was last year. If Peers and Boco are fit I think we'll have a great chance to get something but without them it'll be tough
"he tries his best.... but I was a proper player".
5.00 on ladbrokes.com to win
We will win 5 - 1 ...no probs!!!
Cork have indeed lost their lost two league games and have had some difficulty in scoring against the better teams in the League before StPAts last week but then again they lost that one 3-2.
If Peers passes his fitness test and then our usual back five (inc Brushy there) is available again I feel we will get at least a point.
Solid back line, A free kick around the edge of the box....some magic from Faz.....then its three points.
despite ur recent results against them ie. playing them off the park in the cross last season,i think we may struggle tonight. it looks like a weakened team and lads will be very tired after so many games and maing a long trip doesnt help that.hopefully we play our football and get amoungst them early, if we dont conceed for the first 15-20mins confidence will grow.on the other hand if we concede i can see the tiredness setting in.i'd love a boring as hell 0-0 to be honest, would be a decent result
