and does he take the easy option each year signing with star knowing that all he has to do is turn up to play?
For those of you who have genuinely seen Pa play, do ye think he's good enough to play for Balla.Pike etc?

I have no doubt that he is good enough. If the interest was there, that is.

i have seen him play and he has been excellent on some occasions,on other occasions he may as well be still asleep, would he walk onto the top 4 teams?i have no doubt he'd get a game but if carried on like he does with star he wouldn't last long

Well maybe thats all he wants to do at the end of the day...Turn up on a sunday morning and play a game and not worry about not getting picked..Maybe thats what he wants ..A game of ball every week..I mean no one wants to sit on the sideline every week(and i am not saying he would be if he went to pike or balla) but its his own choice and if he choose to play with star then so be it!!!

lets start with the keeper for the team of the season i think it comes down to 3 Hickey,Gilmartin or Stewart for me they have stood out head and shoulders above the rest now im leaving it up to ye to pick 1 from the 3..................

I beg to differ. Dave McNamara pulled off a string of fine performances, namely his Penalty saves against Fairview this year. Any time I've seen Hickey his kicking for a keeper is far below par, especially when put under pressure..

Alan Morton has to be a shoe in for centre half,a commanding figure at the back who can do the business at the other end too,HIS goal against Summerville at the weekend testament to this, alas the premier will be a lesser place without you my friend

look the bottom line is Pa is a very good player but wether he'd get a game with balla or pike is another thing, the only way for him to find out is for him to go to one of the big clubs and see how he gets on.
Changing your tune now I see..........

Says a Balla B player that cannot get promoted even if they finish in the top 2 each season, now there's an easy option...........spare me.

I never said he wasn't a good player, whats at question is wether he's good enough for pike or balla. which in my opion you can't say that he is until he go's to a top team and see's how he gets on (if gets on at all), if only for 1 season and he can then go back to star.

My opinion is that he is, and Ive played on the same team as him now for 4 season's, and your opinion is that he isn't, so lets just leave it at that, shall we.

are we talking bout a keeper that going to be doing nothing much with very good defence's infront of them or one's that have to actually earn there salt. trust me any of the above keepers would earn it behind stars defence. as has rob

Who made you king of the junior realm? Your anti Pike attitude is lovely, fact is the guy deserves to be in the top 3 for the season.Easily.

If Hickey gets it,its a Joke, guys struggles with Kickouts,Gordon can't for the fact Carew went on a 5/6 game loosing streak there with one score worse than the other..If it as it should go on consistency, then Smackers is in there.
