I have to agree with ya there i saw the highlights on chorus on Tuesday and it clearly showed that the two players were offside .
I must agree with Dave Hill with regard to the standard of Referees & linesmen. Last Sat night there was two terrible decisions given against Ramblers, The first was the penalty, it was clear to everyone in the ground that the goalkeeper touched the ball first. When the Ref gave the penalty, he should have carded the goalkeeper, red if he was applying the rules to the letter of the law but he did not. The second goal, the two Dublin City Centre Forwards were coming back from an offside position when one of them, Alan O'Connor, got the ball, turned and scored with a great shot. I was in line with the last defender and there is no doubt in my mind that both players were at least 5m offside. The linesman clearly saw this also and I cannot understand why he did not flag this. Saying this, the referee was also in a good position and should have blown. There is enough pressure on players & managers without having to put up with these discgracful decisions.
