Smile if you had one wish for Limerick FC...

    what would it be???

Mine would be that we signed Van Nistelrooy....he would score 85-90 goals per season...in two years we'd be in Europe, then we could sell him for numerous millions and be happy ever after!!!

me thinks Van Nistelrooy is a fop-haired poof who wouldn't be able to mix it with the likes of Kilkenny City . no way would he be given all the soft goals he gets against the craven English Prem sides who just roll over and play dead when Man U hit town. not like our lads who can hand out thrashings to all comers including Kilkenny.

And I'd just settle for us to be in a ground of our own, financially secure and with a decent youth structure in place.

There was no smiley. Maineman I can understand (although now shouldn't he really be City of Manchester Stadium Man). Yeah, the defences in the Premiership and the Champions League are much tougher than those in the First Division. Funny what football can do to brains.

Wish - that a Russian billionaire bought the club and decided that it was going to be Ireland's team in the Champions League. Build a nice 40,000 stadium for us and sign a smattering of class players.

The only thing then woul dbe that none of us would be able to get tickets for matches.....

Unkempt I can live with... thank you for clearing that up!

And for a more realistic dream, I'd like to see Limerick sign left-back Mark Hutchison (ex Dundee, Shels, Sligo, Harps and Kildare) who's a free agent at the moment I believe.

why not have a sponsored fop shave...I mean head shave for the club...I'll give €100 if you do a kojak on it...I'm sure countless others on this board will contribute....good way of generating income. On the downside..that nest of crows living up there may have to move on...
