Don't watch lost. Could never get into it. Have never been a sci fi fan but have to say watched the first couple of episodes of heroes and got hooked. Have seen up to ep 17 now (ep 18 is on tonight in the US) and it hasn't disappointed. Some really clever stuff going on and a few laugh oout loud moments to boot

It's top notch stuff. Surprised that none of the "proper" TV stations have picked it up (maybe scared off by some of the gorier moments).

This guy is a legend, all the same.

Still watching Lost, for now, but it has started to pretty much disappear up it's own hole - the dangers of being successful. Commercial demands mean that they have to keep it going for multiple seasons when it would work so much better with a fixed end date. It's clear they've had to introduce a lot of filler to drag out the storyline.

Hopefully they won't make the same mistake with Heroes.

It is great, my interest in Lost has died a lot with the continuing lack of answers and growing amount of questions they present. Heroes is fantastic, one of the best show I have seen in ages and yes Hiro rocks

Have watched all the heroes episodes up til the last one in the states(which I think was the best one) Its okayish. Its not nearly as good as lost when it was good. but its watchable enough. Sometimes you get the feeling you are watchin something totally mainstream and formulaic. dont think you ever got that feeling with lost up until just recently. good to see christopher ecclestone in it tho. excellent actor.

This season of Lost kinda bit crap cause of the gap in the states meant they had to build up to something for the 6th episode. seems to be gettin back to form now. it was never gonna come up with anything like the "answers " people were looking for in it. still a good show tho.

would recommend entourage to anyone wanting to watch any downloaded shows from the states. clever and funny and the guy who plays the agent in it is brilliant. he played john cusacks mate in Grosse Ponite Blank. Basically bout a film star from queens and his mates who mooch off him. written buy Larry Charles.

Am looking to get my hands on some Rescue Me. Anyone watch this? seen an episode of it the other day looks quality.

    anyone any other recomendations???

Loosely based on the early career of oscar-nominee Marky Mark! Speaking of Larry Charles, the 6th season of Curb Your Enthusiasm is confirmed and will be shown later in the year. From what I've seen of Season 3 of the US Office it's well worth sticking with.

Most importantly - the final 9 episodes of the Sopranos begin airing on HBO in less than 5 weeks time!

    Giddy with excitement...

The US shows I download are the Office and Heroes. Mrs Dodge downloads far more and I watch a few of them from time to time but the only must sees are those two.

I've enjoyed it so far - Ali Larter is easy on the eye as well!!! Lost at the moment is full of filler, very little going on and I'm starting to get a bit bored with it.

Great show, hadn't heard about it until I seen a poster on the tube in London. When I got home I downloaded episodes 1-14, just finished watching episode 11 on Sunday night...

Ali Larter is an absolute cracker....

WARNING: for anyone watching on channel 6 Episode 4 spoilers below

Man Last Nights episode was class
has anyone noticed the sign thingy that keeps appearing all over the place ie. In several of Isaccs paintings, in the swimmingpool at the house where the murder took place in EP3 and last night on Nikki's shoulder when she becomes her other self. I reckon it looks like a broken strain of DNA probably to symbolise the extra bit of DNA that the heroes have? anyone else notice this/got any other theory's ?
And what about the Future Samurai Hiro

Spotted that alright, looks like an unfolded helix of DNA as you said...I seen it on Nikkis shoulder in a later episode too (can't think for the life of me how I keep seeing it there!!!!!).

Whats the story with Claires father, is he good or bad?

I reckon he's benevolent. wants to study the Heroes scientifically and if that means killing them to do so then I don't think he gives a damn. wonder if the big black guy he's using is Sylar

Are we even warm about the Symbol thingy being DNA Related ?

So the mystery continues into series 2 um interesting. also theres an interactive online/sms game running in the us in conjunction with the show so apparently there's clues hidden in each episode relating to that so it could just be there for the game ??

I don't think the actual meaning of the design matters. I kinda figured out it was something to do with the helix but its more an abstract symbol rather than a deep meaning one (The eclipse shot features in a few episodes too) Its more thematic than a part of the plot.

All the Heroes 360 stuff can be got on wikipedia. We won't miss out on anything. What is essential is looking at the downloadable "graphic novels" as they contain several key bits. I only found out about them the other day. The other stuff in Heroes 360 are blogs from Hiro and others, Claire's myspace page, website for the Paper Company etc (all Links on wiki) . The latest couple of episodes in the US have been jaw droppingly good.

You can see it in the professor's freaky code too...

This whole Interweb-watching thing kinda messes up some of the fun with different people watching at different points I know some people choose to wait for a show's DVD to watch a series over a few days and avoid the week-long cliffhangers.

Good to see that Sky/RTE have copped on to this and started running programmes close to the US air date, like 24 (week or 2 behind) and Lost (mere days). Here's hoping RTE has a simlar plan for the Sopranos.

RTE was always only a week behind HBO with the Sopranos. Still had to download it though...

Yeah, a rare case of them doing something right - Channel 4 started showing the last series LAST NIGHT , one full year late.
