Show me the PC you can get for 200 euro that has better graphics than a 360 and ill buy two.

The actual cost of a 360 is much higher too; its just that microsoft subsidise it so they can make their money from game sales. The parts inside microsoft's offerings tend to be slightly modified PC parts, to the extent that anyone with a decent knowledge of computers can install linux on them. The only console that sells at a profit is the Wii, hence Nintendo being sort for the next 20 years or so.

It's actually dead simple, I've added XMBC - http://xbmc.org/ - to 5 xboxes without any hassle

Will that turn my old xbox into a media player coz i could do with one of those as my old hard drive one broke down and the old xbox is sitting there not doing anything ( so's the new one but thats a different story )

yeah, that's exactly what it does, I have music and videos playing off mine now. have it connected to the network in my house and streaming both all around the house

not sure if it'll still work with a broken HD though, the first part of the installation is to pause a music track playing off the hard drive, and then disconnect it from the xbox

GTA4? Nope, xbox 360 and ps3 only
XBMC?? Double nope, it only works on XBox, and Windows or Linux based PCs

Stick that in any fairly average pc with PCI E and a 450 watt PSU, those things help with something like that.

GTA 4 on 360 easily the best game ever made ever.

Little Jacob a reason alone for learning a new language, dunno how anyone has issues with controls the same GTA rules apply with driving and shooting, take the corner early and shoot them before they get close to you.

The HD on the xbox is fine i had a external HD that you plug into the TV to play all your movies etc 320 GD , but it died and all my stuff is stuck inside it

i was going to buy a new one but if this will do the same thing i would be great coz i dont have any way of watching my shows on the tv dowstairs .

Can you hook up a external HD to the xbox?

You could try taking the external drive apart and putting the actual drive into another case?

Can you hook up a external HD to the xbox?

from what I've been told, you can, but means messing with the controller port, which is basically a modified USB connection.

if you have a network it's easier to add the HD to the network, connect the XBox to the network, and then stream the content to it

You can replace the HD in the XBox as well, I took the 8GB one out of my box and stuck a 500GB one from komplett in there. Picked up the XBox second hand from Game for €30, the HD was €80, media centre for €110? Bargain!

Anyone fancy talking GTA4? Since this is the thread for it>?

Question anyone know what to spend your money on in game? I've just over 650k and nothing to do with it,one of the lads I know just goes around handing out money to bums in-game,Don't think there's an option to buy property which was a good way to spend it for Vice city..

cars are a bit too loose for my liking, camera wonky, and some sluggish controls on foot, latter is i suppose in keeping with both the 3d gta games i've played. game feels slower overall too. must spend more time with it to get the feel and solve the quirks.
