I'm guessing what they mean is that Iarnród Éireann would normally put a bus on for any interrupted services.

200 stranded on Sligo to Dublin train
Wednesday, 16 April 2008 13:08
More than 200 passengers on the Iarnród Éireann Sligo to Dublin rail service are stuck at the station in Clonsilla after a signal fault this morning.
a couple of inaccuracies in that story; it say's that no local bus service is currently available at the station ! There is a Bus-stop not 20 yards away that will take them into the city center on the 39 or 39a

It says:"There are no taxis or local bus services yet available at the station to allow passengers continue on their journeys." sounds to me like they are saying clonsilla is in the middle of nowhere which it most certainly is not. ffs it's within easy walking distance of the Blanchardstown center

Those 200 passengers must be getting a little tetchy at this stage. How long are they there now?
Quoting years at random since 1975
