    Tv3 Live coverage

How many games are TV3 supposed to show? We're halfway through and there's only been one game. I thought the deal was 5 per season (not sure on that hence the question).

its not a certain number per season, its just a fixed number over the duration of the deal. can't remember the exact numbers, but e.g. if the deal said they have to show 10 over 2 seasons, they could show 10 one season and none in the other. I'd love to see more games on tv, but i think the highlights are far more important

highlights my arse, longofrd played two games in the last week one at home and one away, away to rovers and they still didn't show it last night, they can show rovers in europe but can't be bothered to get highlights of a league match and that idiot noel king with his daffy duck tie and the top button of his shirt open, not very professional, get your act together tv3 or take a running jump

those of us who can't make it to games look forward to the highlights on a monday night even if they are at a completly stupid time .
Ignore Max Power, he is no more, the future is Ron Burgundy. I'd love to be Ron Burgundy but they won't let me........

i'm looking into it, i live with a member of staff from tv3 and i've asked him to talk to the head of sport for me, it was only 2 miles from the head quarters. and they had cameras at the european match

TV3 highlights are awful, but better than nothing. Every week they miss one game in the premier. The cameramen are amateurs! They don't follow the ball half the time and when they do the camera is out of focus! I was watching a Rovers game a few weeks back and I had to squint to see where the ball was.

Noel King was hoarse last night!!!! What a joke!

The reason the cameramen look like amateurs is because they are most of the time! TV3 doesn't cover half of the games it shows - clubs like Drogheda, UCD, Dublin City and Harps have to organise their own camera at their own expense to get highlights sent in!

What's really annoying about TV3's highlights show is that it hasn't changed a bit over nearly a year - they have to be looking for ways to continually improve the programme or else it'll just stagnate like it's doing at the moment.
