Termonbarry Athletic TID!
Well done everybody Saturday night. I heard the minutes silence was well observed & the banners looked class. Despite starting this thread I wasnt able to make it up for the game as I was at home with the flu & missed 3 days work last week with it. Anyway well done all & thankfully we got 3 points as well!!!
See you all in Wexford on Friday.
Was thinking of going but no way will I get off work early enough to be there in time (over a 4 hour drive from where I will be working)
Roddy Collins, the biggest <insert as appropiate> in Irish Football.
I check out Foot.ie every week for LTFC news and chat but have never bothered to post before however after Saturday night I felt the need!!....I've been going to Town games for a good number of years and seen the bad days....the good days....and back to where we are now....but I think the tribute paid by Section O to Enda Muldowney (RIP, who I didn't know) on Saturday night just showed that whilst de Town are not a big club that there is a beauty in being small!!...the respect shown by all in the ground and the response by the players after the minutes silence was sincere and honest, I was proud to be an LTFC fan, there are many times when I leave the Flansiro after poor performaces, being frozen or soaked to the bone, having missed some other Saturday night attraction and ask myself why do I keep going back for more!!!....well I always go back for more....and hopefully always will go back, and after Saturday night it brought it home to me that LTFC is a great club and means a lot to a lot of people...and me......there's more to LTFC than just football...it's a community of like minded fans who share a common dream.......
Well said Bertie, that is something that the premiership lovin' Barstoolers will never ever feel
Well said Bertie.
